📌6 апреля состоялась лекция Сергея Мишенёва об арт-фехтовании в рамках Дней фехтовальной культуры 2019, которые проходят в Сант-Петербурге до 15 апреля. 
Данное мероприятие ежегодное и организуется Санкт-Петербургским Фехтовальным Клубом, под руководством Алины Туляковой.
С позволения процитируем текст написанный нашей ученицей Еленой Давыдовой.
"Сергей Викторович привел отличный пример - арт-фехтование можно сравнить с фигурным катанием. Спортивный бой - это гоночный конькобежный спорт, где важен именно результат, попадание, скорость и факт победы над противником. А вот арт-фехтование стремится к другой цели. Здесь важно продемонстрировать не сколько эффектность в бою, сколько раскрыть сюжет, рассказать историю "плаща и шпаги", скомбинировать современные технологии и старинные традиции. И не помешает капелька юмора на сцене. Артисты создают конгениальные гэки, шедевральные комедийные сценки, применяя боевые приемы и знания, чутье. Победители в данном случае - вся команда, которая готовила номер. А это и режиссер, и тренеры, и костюмеры, звукари, осветители, видеомонтажеры и рабочие сцены. Настоящая мини-постановка, и все ради того, чтобы рассказать зрителю некую интригу. "
